1999-2004 studies in media economics at Stuttgart Media University (HdM) - university of applied sciences. Internships in advertising agency and music production and management of music-events. Graduation (graduate engineer) with diploma thesis Audio-Branding. Akustische Markenkommunikation als Strategie der Markenführung in 2004. Since then Kai Bronner gained experience in the field of audio branding and sound communication on several projects in collaboration with audity, acg audio consulting group, Groves Sound Branding and others.
He is a founder member of ExAM - Expertenkreis Angewandte Musik­forschung (expert society for applied music research). Together with Cornelius Ringe and Rainer Hirt he founded in 2009 the Audio Branding Academy which hosts the annual Audio Branding Congress. His main research interests include sound communication, sounddesign, timbre studies and music in general.
